I just signed up with CARRIEXCHANGE to give it a try. Need some time though to get into their web interface. As far as I can see the display of the routes sucks with Firefox 3 and Safari, had to switch to IE to be able to read something.
Anyway, now that I have configured something for testing, I can't pay anything since their https server seems to be broken.
Can anybody confirm?

I'm new to this forum and I have to say that, apart from the childish bickering, the information & knowledge here is excellent.

Betamax's (voicetrading, etc) customers service is limited to say the least but this is through choice not poor management. Their focus is on quality of product not service. They only reply to messages that they think is necessary. Even though you have not received a reply it doesn't mean the problem wasn't solved. There is so much budget available and it is better spent on product than customer service. At first I didn't understand this policy but over time I have started to see their point.

I have also suffered the disappearing payment icons. Betamax has a very sensitive and secret fraud trigger system. For example, if you use your credit card too often and/or on too many accounts then you sudden loose all your payment methods. After a couple months they will return. Don't bother emailing, it won't help.

It is a waste of time email or debating the subject on a forum. Most companies would spend a 60 on product and 40 on service. Betamax believes 80 on product and 5 on service and 15 making the product cheaper.

I have no problem with VT to Africa except to Congo and Cameroon mobile where it charges even whilst the phone is still ringing.
