Does anyone have any dealings with net2phone owned by IDT for termination? If you do please share with me. Thanks.

Yes. They have good routes though and will put some of the customer that are willing to pay premium on it. Do you know of any quality issues with them or some fine prints.

Don't know of anything like that, but I think you'll be able to get same quality termination at much lower prices. It seems to me like net2phone is overpriced.

But hey, you do get what you pay for usually...

I have tested net2phone service, I'm satisified with the service. Even though it is expensives, it's worth it. The next step for me is trying to contact providers directly in some countries, I'm particular interested in MTN since a majority of my calls go to them.

I did not know there was soo much politics involved if you needed direct interconnects with the countries that MTN serves. Everything in the US is simple and assumed the same but I'm wrong. It was like pulling teeths to say the least.

For those of you who have never heard of MTN, its a large mobile provider covering Africa and the Middle East available in over 21 countries.

If you do get direct interconnections with them, and the rates are good, do let me know. I may route some traffic through you. :)

I have used Net2phone for the past 30 days. It was ok for the first 25 days but has been horrible for the last 5 days. Unlike Voicetrading you get a person to talk to but they deny its their fault. What difference does it make if the person on the other end does not want to work with you.

I'll see how it goes for the next couple of days.

I have used Net2phone for 3 months and the routes are good and high quality. However its expensive. Does anyone have any trunks to Liberia and Sierra Leone that is cheaper and yet good quality?

I like them. I have worked with the other companies who are cheaper but have found more headaches than anything.

A rule of thumb . . . you get what you pay for. I have used companies who have better rates, but when customers call all the time due to bad quality or un-reliable connections - you then have a problem.

I do NOT work for IDT, but I do use them. Another company that is good is Gafachi. Had several billing problems that I hope they have fixed.

Hope this helps you.

Been using n2p for the last two years. Super satisfied. You get to pick over four routes (two gray and two premium). A lot of the underdeveloped countries won't work with the gray routes. But if you know how to use these routes and test them one by one to your popular countries, you could make good use out of them.
I don't find the gray routes to be expensive, either
