Hi,

I want to offer a unlimited calling plan where I will just charge a monthly subscription fee of lets say $29.95. So from what I have read from the forums and the docs, I would have to create a subscription fee from "Recur Service" => "Subscriptions". But I read that this subscription fee will be run on the first of the month via the crontab. My question, what if my customer signed up on October 2nd, so he will not get charged the subscription fee until November 1st? Is there a way to make it charge a customer based on the customer's signup day?

I would use a recurring fee and charge every 30 days instead of the subscription.

i would suggest against the recurring fee direction. apparently, the way the subscription works now is that it will only send an invoice to the customer, telling the customer to pay. it will not deduct the credit from the account. which doesn`t make sense, since this was the way it worked in 1.3.4  the recurring service is ineffective in a case where you would have different subscription packages. if you setup up 3 recurring fees, ALL THREE WOULD BE APPLIED TO ANY CUSTOMER THAT HAS THE RECURRING FEE ATTACHED. This is a no no. i`m still stuck myself as to a good work around for the subscription and packages system.

Hi,

I've been doing prepaid calling but now I want to move into postpaid.
What is this the best way to setup invoicing in 1.3.4?
If the customer makes calls outside of their call plan, would the invoice include the monthly subscription and the calls made?

Thanks,

Robin
