How to change customer gui?

Hi,

Like in older versions on A2B we used to edit a2billing.conf file to display "Call History","Invoices", "Caller ID","Password","Voucher",,, in customer web gui, now in version 1.4, where can we specify it. I have checked a2billing.conf and system settings in admin console in "customerwebgui".

I want to minimize the list for my customers.

You will find those options when you edit the customer group.

I am running 1.5 and it is AMAZING. Great job! You can do pretty much everything from the gui. I do have one question, how can you enable/disable requested fields on the signup page? For instance, I don't want my customers to enter, or even see the VAT field.

There is no settings for that, it will be nice to add some indeed.

Do you see any problem I if manually edit the signup.php file/will there be any implications? would it be as easy as commenting out the fields?

Areski,

When I look at customer group on my setup I don't see all of the settings for the customer gui.

This is probably because I did an upgrade on my mysql database from a very old version of A2billing 1.2.3 and I guess it might have not transferred properly. Everything else seems to be in place.
Do we still have a way that we can go in and edit a file in order to turn on or off sections of the customer interfaces?

Hi

The only way to change what is displayed is via the customer group, as mentioned in post 2 of this thread.

Areski, I received the email this morning with the 1.6 announcement. Is the above now possible on version 1.6?

It's not in our todo list but you can push it by opening a dev request to us,
which is also a good way to support A2Billing.
