we used to modify the 1.3 to allow did incoming call per minute and also provide extension calling instead of providing the dedicate did.

is this function a built-in in 1.4 or we have to hack the code again?

In 1.4 / 1.5 one customer can now call direct to another customer's DID, without going out via a carrier, and make a charge for the internal call if you so desire.
