Hello all,

I keep getting multiple callback on cid-callback whenever I dial my trigger number from a particular cellular provider. Callback trigger thru other cellular providers works great. Has anyone ever experience this?

I would dial my trigger number from my Digicel SIM (doesn't matter which phone the SIM is in), asterisk returns busy as usual. The problem exist with the callback, asterisk will call me back, when I answer, another call immediately comes in from asterisk. This would continue for as many as 8 callbacks for that one trigger. Now this happens only with Digicel's mobile service.

Is there any way I could stop a2billing from initiating multiple callbacks? I've tried setting "Individual access" withing a2billing. That don't seem to help.

Need your expert advice. Thanks.

Hi

I answered this question a few days ago.

Because the call is disconnected straight away, some providers try again, which means that multiple callbacks are queued.

Create a dial plan that allows ringing for 2 or 3 rings, then disconnects.

Tried adding exten => _X.,1,Ringing(5) to the context, but the phone does not ring. When I add Answer then ringing I would hear the ringing on the phone, however the mobile phone gets charged.
