Hello Everyone

Being a new person in this field
I have a following questions.
1. My outbound test trunk provider (nergy telecom not sure how is good) give me a test account and ask me to add extra prefix when you dial for e:g xxxxxxxxxx+1+phonene and provide the sip ip to register.
no user id and password.

If any body have an experience to register it in freepbx and made some test call, please guide me i want to test a call .

I am not able to register this trunk in freepbx.
I used the following into peer details

host=208.89.104.61
type=peer
canreinvite=no
nat=yes
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
trustrpid=yes
sendrpid=yes
insecure=port,invite

and in registers string i used
:@208.89.104.61

Any help will be appreciated. i tested some other trunk provider they works fine but this one is unique for me.

Hi

You should just need the host (IP address) in FreePBX, and make sure you dial with your prefix, you should not need the trunk to actually register, so no register string required.

What you have there should work, but it depends on the carrier which magic sauce you have to use to make it work.

If i remove the registration string and apply the update.
I didn't get your point which you mention in last line.
what magic.
Even that i am dialing from sip extentions and i already put in out_bounds 0_9 dialing plan x.
it should connect.
but no success.
even that i saw sip registrations, that trunk is not registered alos.
frustration.

Hi,

I am not sure how to do this in FreePBX.

However, you could try to just add the trunk in A2Billing.

Just put the prefix and IP in the fields indicated.

This should work if your provider has you IP authenticated in their system.
