Mysql root password not working

Hi
I am running asterisk 1.4 on Centos 5 on a VPS, i am trying to install a2billing 1.4, but i am getting an issue with mysql it does not accept my username and pwd changed in the file a2billing.conf, so i switched to root and according to the tutorial found on a2billing wiki the root pwd is passw0rd.
Can someone help me solve this issue please?

Hi

The MySQL root password will depend on what you set it to when you installed the OS.

You may find that it has not been set at all - "mysql -uroot" or you may find that it has been set to be the same as the system root password.

It will only be "passw0rd" if you set it to "passw0rd", and the username and password in a2billing.conf will only work if you have added that username and password to mysql.
