Hi,

I would like to configure a pakage offer.

My senario is:

I would like to offer to all my customers 500 minutes free calls to US every months and they will pay $xx.xx every month (my seperate billing software will bill him).
- I will not put any credit on their cards.
- They don't have any Credit on their account so they will not be able to call any other countries.
- They have option to buy Voucher from website and add this Voucher to their account and then they will be able to call A-Z.
- Also after finished their Free 500 Minutes they should be able to call US using their credit.

I tried to configure package offer and it didn't work for me.

1. I added a Package and Package Group
2. Edited the Package and add rate in it.
3. Edidted Callplan and selected Package offer.
My rate card (which I added) has Buying rate selling rate etc.


Can Anyone help me?

Avestan,

Example:
500 free Minutes US & Canada every Month. User has $0.00 in his account.

Step 1:

Go to Package offer --> Add --> Add Package then

LABEL : 500 Minutes US Canada
PAKAGE TYPE: Free Seconds
Billing Type: Monthly
Starting Day: 1
Free Units: 132000
-->Confirm data

Go to Package offer--> Add
You will be able to see your "500 US Canada" in the list
Click On "Add rate" Click on + and add your US and Canada's Rates

Step 2:

Go to Package offer --> Group then "Add Package Group". Name & Desc then --Confirm Data.

Go to Package offer --> Group
Edit your Package Group
Add Package "500 Minutes US Canada" from the List---> Confirm Data

Step 3:

Go to RATES--> Call Plan --> Edit your Call Plan--> Select your Package -->confirm Data.

You don't need to Run any Corn for Package offer.

I hope it will help you to configure Package offer. I'm using A2B 1.4

Hi,
I use A2B 1.7.1 but in step 2, I don't find this function Group in Package Offer.
Is this bug for A2B 1.7.1 ?

Group was removed in a later version, as it was not well tested, it may come back once we have got it stable.

It means I can't use this function PACKAGE OFFER with version A2B 1.7.1.
Is this function PACKAGE OFFER in version A2B 1.8.1 ?

The package offer is still there and completely operational and stable. What was removed was the Package Offer Groups.

To clarify, you can still bundle Free Minutes or Free Calls to selected destinations.

Is it on the list for the next release or unscheduled at this time?

Hi, I am trying to do the same, and I configure it like you,
But my problem is that if I set the starting day to 1, and a customer buy this Package Offer the day 30 of the month, the customer is paying the whole month.
How do you solve it?

Hi Joe,
I have configured Package Offer : Free Minutes (5 minutes) with 2 destinations.
So the duration of call is less 5 minutes, A2B is worked correctly ( sell = 0 usd)
But the call is more 5 minutes, A2B is not working. This charge of call is normal (package offer is not applied). And I try to access in Admin Interface : PACKAGE OFFER ---> Details . This call (> 5 minutes ) is in list of Free Minutes.

Is this an error in A2B version 1.7.1 ?

Hi,
I have the same problem, when the call is over the freetime package offer, the package is not applied.
Did you get any fix?

I tested this a day r so ago, and it worked for me. Check you have exactly the right rate selected.

It work but on last call we had 32 min left on pkg but the last call went for 32.52 min since it wen extra 52 second it bill for the whole 32.52 min please let me know how can I fix this.. It spouse to bill only 52 second not 32.52

I made 3 calls
