Problems with Paypal

One of my customers refilled his card using paypal, this is the first paypal payment processed since I implemented 1.4 RC1.
I received the email from paypal and noticed that the transaction was complete in the paypal page, however, when I check the Epayment-Log I see the following:

1 2009-06-10 10:19:22 paypal In Process 20.000 110 xxxx5842 (I am masking the number).
When I tried to change the status to PROCEED I get the following errors:

Insert the payment method - (NUMBER FORMAT WITH/WITHOUT DECIMAL, use '.' for decimal)
Insert the owner - (NUMBER FORMAT WITH/WITHOUT DECIMAL, use '.' for decimal)

My customer's account has not been refilled with this transaction.

How should this work with this version? should we change the status manually for every transaction or should this change automatically?
In any case, it is not working. Any suggestions?

This should change automatically, so I suppose there is a bug on the paypal module.

I'm having a somewhat similar issue where the customer's account doesn't get credited with the verified paypal payment:

No update so far

EDIT Figured it out. I've explained the issue and provided solution on the other thread.
