I am currently trying to perform a load test of A2B+asterisk. I have setup a box with A2B 1.4 latest rev, and A* 1.4.24. I have another box with SIPP. I can make the test box place hundreds of calls to the A2B/* box, no problems. I can write a test plan to test all destinations as well. What I want to do is to configure the tested system to pretend to be routing the calls normally, via my SIP provider, but to truly route the calls to an asterisk annoucement that just picks up the phone and answers. Like this, I can make a load test on the tested system without generating interconnect charges (and without the need to find faxes that will pickup the call at the other end). Where i am struggling.... the calls get in A2B no issues, then go out through a trunk - mapped to a sip trunk. but I fail to reroute this trunk in asterisk to the ivr. any help - or feedback on experience on load testing is welcomed ! j. |
