 Post subject: outbound calls not going through on trixbox and A2B

HI All,

i have install trixbox 2.8 and A2B 1.4
i followed the installation guide .

1- trixbox .
outbound route
dialling patterns
trunk : sippy1

trunk
sippy1
dialling rules : 00+XNNXXXXXXX

2-A2B

provider
trunk :sippy1
and customers call plan rates cartes rates ...ect

but as soon as i dial a number (eg : 001718310940 or any other number) i have a voice message telling that this number is unreachable plz hang up.


PS: but with only trixbox i could make outbound calls perfectly.
can anyone help me please ?

I think i can help you out a little here. After spending a weekend on a similar issue i discovered that when using a2billing the trunk dialing rules in asterisk don't get applied. You need to implement the same dialing rules in a2billing as well using the add/remove prefix.

For me since i have a few different manipulations i need to do and the trunk only supports one add/remove i had to create several a2billing trunks that map to a single asterisk trunk.

also check your rate plan and see if it is removing the 00 or not. Lastly mine was using callback so it may be slightly different but is suspect it will be the same.
