I am getting a kind when some callers end their calls the in_use mode gets stuck in above zero mode.

This results in the server telling the caller the line is still in use the next time they try to call.

When I read the help text this says "this is a result of a non_standard stop of the call".

My question is what consititutes a non__standard stop cause I would then advice my users what to avoid doing thus causing the problem or how can I set it up so it doesnt get stuck on this and thus give the user the msg "(this account is currently in use)".

I find that this happens to my callers when they make a call that they end up getting voicemail. They sometimes leave a message and then hang up the phone. But for some reason the voicemail causes the card status to stay at above zero. What I tell my callers is when finished with a call to press the asterisk button on their phones. This tells the system that you are done. You get disconnected immediately.

Do you both have php-pcntl ?
Which Asterisk & A2Blling do u use ?
This kind of issue could happens if the AGI process doesn't end, get stuck somewhere
and then do reach the hangup section.

I have just setup a Trixbox 1.1 and A2billing 1.2 in a test environment. This problem of in_use status>0 persists in my system too upon every unsuccessful dial, unsuccessful authentication, and unsuccessful connection. The Asterisk CLI console clearly shows AGI process has ended, but the status stays at above 0.

Perhaps the writer of the AGI should consider forcibly including resetting or decrementing in_use status by 1 at the end of the script.

When most of A2B operators hope to generate more income by allowing silmultaneous calls, this monitor becomes meaningless. Can it be disabled?

Thank you, Mohan. I should have checked and installed all those components listed as required by the system. One should not take a pre-configured box (such as Trixbox) for granted. Homework is necessary.

i am kind of new to linux/a2billing and have the same problem.

rpm -q php show php-4.3.11-2.8

i did try to install with 'rpm -iv /tmp/php-pcntl-4.3.11-2.5.1.i386.rpm'. then query it with 'rpm -q php-pcntl-4.3.11-2.5.1.i386.rpm'. system tell me it is not install. but when i redo rpm -iv, it show its already installed.

also

php -m | grep pnctl show....

I have pcntl installed with php4. I am running latest version of a2billing also. But i am having a similar issue. After i use web callback the call end but the card shows as in use. Any ideas?
