Does anyone have a method of setting a maximum sell rate for a customer.

So let's say I don't want calls that cost over 0.50 per minute to be connected - how would I do that?

Cheers.

Hi

Simply don't include rates and dialcodes over 50c per minute, If there is no dialcode or rate for the destination, then A2Billing won't allow it to be dialled.

Unfortunately that won't work. In this example, calls to the UK are charged at 0.05 and calls to Premium UK are being charged at 0.55.

Code Sell Rate
44 0.05
449 0.55

By removing '449', the calls are still connected but charged at the lower rate.

Including all the codes in this instance is essential.

What I need is a way of stopping calls that have a sell rate over 0.50.

I could change the sell rate of 449 to 99,999.00 and put a 99,998.00 credit limit on the customer's account but I'm not sure that's the correct way to do it (or even if A2Billing would allow such a figure!).

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi

You should never have a rate like 44, the country code only is not sufficient. For the UK, you should have at least 441, 442, 4474-4479 448, and probably some I've forgotten, now if you don't have a 449, it won't be delivered.

Alternatively, you can set 449 to go to a dummy trunk to terminate the call.
