Post subject:  Striping off dial prefix

All;
I recently had a problem where all of my outbound calls where getting denied. After I turned on AGI debug I saw that the call was being denied because the rate engine did not recognize the number because it was prefixed with a '9' to get an outside line. For example, 9-1-555-555-1234 was denied, but 1-555-555-1234 went through. So my question is this. Is there a way to have A2B strip off the leading digit(s) first before it tries to rate the call?
Regards;
FSD

Hi

Ideally, your customers should not be sending you numbers prefixed with 9.

You could strip it off in the dialplan.
