I just upgraded from 2.0.8 to 2.0.11 and just came across two problems. (1) When trying to send a mass email, when I pressed the "Load Template" button to get the email template popup window, hitting the <select text> button did NOT do anything and did not select the text. That did not happen in 2.0.8. (2) When I filled in the options, and clicked the "Email" button, I got the dreaded "CSRF Error!". That did happen in 2.0.8.

Regards;
Frank

Thank you for the quick response. When I go to send a mass email, I can now select the text using the <select text> button, that's fixed, but when I go to send the email, I'm still getting the "CSRF Error".

Frank

Hi,

I have updated from 2.0.11 to 2.0.12 due to mass maill csrf error. after the update "Mail" menu bar disappeared.
i can see the mail bar in the asterisk2billing demo page. Is that been Removed from the new version or i have done something wrong in my update?

This is how how i updated:
Update database with supplied SQL scripts : UPDATE-a2billing-v2.0.11-to-v2.0.12.sql
Update web pages
Update Cronjobs
Update a2billing.php
Update common directory

Are you using the develop branch?
If so it's normal, we removed the mass mail feature as it brought some security concerns.
I will advice to use a third party application for mass mailing, there is plenty out there, mailchimp, campaignmonitor, etc... and also a lot of open source alternative.

Hi,

I think i have downloaded development branch as i cloned from the following links "https://github.com/Star2Billing/a2billing.git". is the mail feature available from the Master branch? if it has been removed from future development, how the customer notification handled by a2billing, such as signup, payment reminders and other?

Thanks.
