Hi,

I have just installed A2Billing. All tables have been created and I can login from the MYSQL CLI using

DB user: a2billinguser
DB name: mya2billing
DB password: a2billing

My problem is I am unable to access the GUI interface.
An error is returned "connection failed".

I have followed every step so am at a loss
what the problem may be.

Could anyone advise or suggest a possible solution?

Ensure that /etc/a2billing.conf is correctly configured. with your DB settings

Also check via the command line using those credentials that you can access A2Billing.

Yes, my /etc/a2billing.conf is correctly configured.

I have discovered in the logs that it is an issue with the 'a2billinguser' password.

/usr/local/a2billing-2.0.9/common/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysqli.inc.php - line 112.

This is a variable argument for password, which is passed the parameter from whatever the source. Presumably, /etc/a2billing.conf

As /etc/a2billing.conf has the correct password, could the be a permissions issue on the file?
