 Post subject: Unable to dial out using a2b

Hi,

I am unable to dial out when using a2b.
Tested the outbound trunk in Elastix, which works ok.
Used the same name for the provider IP in a2b trunk, but when I dial out through a2b I get the prepaid notifications saying how much credit and minutes left, but after that the call just goes silent.
The call will stay active until I hung up and the other end does not ring and no call is billed for.


See below from the CLI:

I manage to resolve this issue by clearing the Dial Command Params in the AGI Conf.

Ok, I am now able to dial out, but the call duration is not working.
This way the users are not being billed.
Not sure if this relates to the dialcommand_param that is set to blank.

Anyone able to help?

Hi

As a start, set the dial command parameters to the default, and make sure the Asterisk version matches your installation in the agi-conf.

Thank for your reply Joe.

I managed to resolve the problem.
Had to set the Asterisk version from 1_4 to 1_6 in order to make outgoing calls with the dial command params.

I had made in error in the dialstring from the PBX to A2B which was why the duration did not work.

All is working now.
