Hello,

have installed A2Billing under LiteSpeed webserver and PHP 5.5.17 but when we connect to the URL it says "Connection failed".

If we test the credentials from the CLI, as defined in /etc/a2billing.conf, it works fine:

root@ws a2billing-master]# mysql -h dbserver -D a2billing -u dbuser -p
Enter password:
Reading table information for completion of table and column names
You can turn off this feature to get a quicker startup with -A

Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 329637
Server version: 5.5.34-MariaDB-wsrep-log MariaDB Server, wsrep_23.7.6

What we see in the error log though is:

[STDERR] PHP Warning: mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/2002): Connection refused in /www/webservername/a2billing-master/common/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysqli.inc.php on line 112

What could be wrong ?

Resolved. Setting the Port in a2billing.conf does not appear to work. Instead use Hostname = dbserver:dbport
