I am creating a calling plan to create demo calling cards free of charge. I need to prevent users to call 1900 prefix numbers. One way is to create rate with prefix 1900 with extremely high rate like $500/minute. Is there a better way? Because I want to prevent users from calling mobile phone numbers in some country.

If you do not include the 1900 prefix in the rates, and you have not got a catchall, like 1, then customers will not be able to call it.

Alternatively, you could create a rate table of banned destinations, and set it to use a local trunk which actually turns up a local piece of dial-plan that says - "this number is unavailable."

Thanks Joe

I get your idea. So now my customers can dial to SIP extensions while they are using calling card or callback service.

Thanks again
