Hello
In my DialPlan the users dont need to put 00 or +, just the international code and the number.
But how can I allow the users to avoid dialling the international code when dialling their home country (ex: when English customers are dialling to England)?

The option "local_dialing_addcountryprefix" only works in dialplans with 00 prefix

How can I do this?

Thanks
Regards

Yes, I had that config working:
One ratecard for the clients that whant to dial the internacional code, and other ratecard for users that like to dial only the country number.

But in one on the last A2Billing upgrades one thing happened.
So, I had the different ratecards loaded, with the same prices, but with different prefixes:

Ratecard_1 (prefix, destination, rate)
351 91; Portugal - cellphone; 0.08

Ratecard_2 (prefix, destination, rate)
91; Portugal - cellphone; 0.08

The problem now is, when the Ratecard_2 client checks the call history, the calls are listed as going to India, because 91 is the international prefix for India.

There is no problem with the billing, because A2B uses the correct rate... but it shows an incorrect destination.
A2B gets the destination name from table "cc_prefix" instead of using the name I entered in the RateCard import (that should be Portugal - cellphone). How can I disable that?

How can I force A2B to do not use the destination names in cc_prefix table?

Thanks

Hi

local_dialing_addcountryprefix works well when the national code starts with single 0, as it removes the 0, and replaces with the international dialcode from the customer's address.

Until I wrote the above sentence, I would have advised you to fix the numbers to be in international format before sending them to A2Billing.

However, on writing this, it occurs to me that you could use the local_dialing_addcountryprefix to sort this out even if the country concerned does not use a single leading 0 for national calls.

So if you have some dial plan, that says if the number called starts with a 1 through to 9, then put a single leading 0 on the front of the number dialled, and pass into A2Billing.

A2Billing will then strip the 0, and replace with the country code from the customer's address.

In the case of the USA, where they can dial in full international format, (11 digit dialling) simply do an NAMPA pattern match on 10 digits, to add a single leading 1, and when in 11 digit NAMPA format, pass the call in as dialled.

This will mean that you will only have to maintain one set of international rate tables.

Joe
