Hi guys.

I am facing this problem here.

error: 'Access denied for user 'a2billinguser'@'localhost' (using password: YES)'

I am following this step by step http://www.asterisk2billing.org/cgi-bin ... on%20Guide and wend i get into the point that i have to Create a2billing database i am getting this message above.

I even try to remove the data base and start fresh aging , and still the error , try to change the a2billinguser password on mysql for 1234 using phpmyadmin and still same error.

I really don't know how to proceed, does some one have any idea?

Specifying what flavor of Linux you are using would expedite the response, but some questions are better answered in the distro forum.
My big fat question is why you want to install Chameleon version when you got stable Hickory released?

well unless you are a historian and want to write a history of A2B.

you can not user mysql blank password. this command will change password from blank to NEWPASSWORD.
mysqladmin -u root password NEWPASSWORD

I am running asterisk 1.6 so i will try your tip on viewtopic.php?p=21225 and i give you a update in 24 hours.

Sure about the script and if you want some help i amd very good with Shell Script , are you keen to do that?
