Hello
Im using A2B 1.6 and Im trying to configure it to use the DIDX API.
I already have a DIDX account activated, and the A2B webui values configured:
DIDX ID
DIDX PASS
DIDX MIN RATING
DIDX RING TO

But I still cant Import the DIDX numbers using the DIDX API in A2Billing.
Does this need any other configuration?
How can I debug the A2Billing-DIDX connection?

Thanks
Regards
Joao Pereira

But this DIDX interconnection is only for Admin usage???

Or the clients can also buy DIDX numbers through the A2Billing Customer interface?

Thanks

looking at http://trac.asterisk2billing.org/cgi-bin/trac.cgi/wiki/1-4-ListDID, i think you will have to use [import DIDX] to import DID's and then assign to the customers.

not sure as i haven't done this.

Let us know what you find.

Kind Regards

But thats useless, because I have to buy the DID for it to become available in my A2Billing.

The perfect solution would be the clients browsing the numbers in the A2Billing Customer interface and chosing the numbers to buy. It could also show the prices with the comission added, because DIDX is a wholesale provider.

Hi joao,

You have come to my thinking which i had earlier :? , like i said in this thread http://forum.asterisk2billing.org/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=7474 i was forced to abandon the whole process, as you have to buy DID's at DIDx before you make them available to the customers.
I stand to be collected on this. but i think its more pain than selling DID's to customers on demand.

I wish Joe would enlighten us on the structure of this module.

Dear joao,

are you happy with DIDx? A friend of mine he is a DIDx customer. They said to activate
the account, he must fax a copy from his creditcard (front and backside) to DIDx.
For me its not serious and I would not provide my creditcard to anyone.

Whats your experience with that company? Even they have a company carrier exchange
and I read in the forum, clients never got the money. May it´s rumors not sure.

Can you share your experience with us?

Thanks
Skiller

DIDx is fine. I have been with them for sometime. Although the thought of providing front and back is scary you can protect yourself by blotting out all numbers except the last 4 and place other security items to prevent continual use in case of fraud.

Regarding Carrier exchange, well it is a process and the majority of the time calls do not terminate-- in my opinion. On the other hand BVI-- be very careful with them. Route5060 is good (you receive your money via paypal after the third day) and Carrier Cloud for the most part (although they charge to much, USD 7, to pay you via paypal.

Hi,

I do no believe Carrier Exchange is any part of DIDx.

DIDx and Carrierx are part of Super Technologies Inc.

I believe you might be taking about CarrieXchange.

In either case, I myself have used all the above and so far have not had any problems with them as long as I pick high quality vendor ratings. However, this could change tomorrow for all I know.

Kind Regards,

Les
