Ok, so I am not an expert on Asterisk/A2billing so I am looking for some help. Currently using Asterisk 1.4, and just purchased a new piece of hardware and wanted to upgrade to A2Billing. The programmer that installed all the software installed Asterisk 1.4 and A2Billing, but we are now being told that these cannot be on the server together and that it will not work. can anyone share their thoughts, and let me know if this is the case?

What we are trying to accomplish is using Asterisk, or some sort of software that will allow us to utilize least cost routing, but the standard Asterisk 1.4 does not have that function.

Can anyone provide some feedback? It is greatly appreciated.

A2Billing can be installed on the server with asterisk, or it can be installed remotely, with elements of A2Billing on the asterisk server, so it can communicate with the database.

We would suggest that either you consult the documentation in the tarball to understand how to install A2Billing, alternatively you may consider using Star2Billling to assist you, see http://www.star2billing.com/consultancy ... d-install/

A2Billing will least cost route between carriers.
