Hi All; I upgraded from 1.3.4 to 1.8.1 and I am using Fedora When i tried to login using http://ip_address/admin and it gives me the username and password prompt, then after entering them, i gives me the following message: Error : A2Billing configuration file is missing Which file it means? That /etc/asterisk/a2billing.conf ? If yes, then it is existed .. and I put the database configuration .. but actually this file is different than the file I was using with the 1.3.4 version, as the sections: [webui], [recprocess], [agiconfX] are not existed ... So, what happened? Those configuratoin were doing it in the sections [webui], [recprocess], [agiconfX] , where now to do it? In the extensions.conf file, Do i have to change the below (what should be): [a2billing] exten => _X.,1,Answer exten => _X.,2,Wait,2 exten => _X.,3,DeadAGI,a2billing.php exten => _X.,4,Wait,2 exten => _X.,5,Hangup ; I feel i am missing some thing .. but not know which one? Any help? My service now is down. Regards Bilal |

Hi In versions above 1.3.4, the configuration file is /etc/a2billing.conf, in earlier versions, /etc/asterisk/a2billing.conf Joe |

I am in version 1.8.1 and I placed the configuration file a2billing.conf under /etc/asterisk (actually i copied it from the extracted tar to that location). But still I am facing the same problem. By the way, when i was using 1.3.4, i was placing the a2billing.conf in /etc/asterisk also and was not under /etc. But the current a2billing.conf file that I found it in the extracted tar file, does not have those sections [webui], [recprocess], [agiconfX] which was existing in the 1.3.4 a2billing.conf. So, why those sections are no more existed in the earlier versions a2billing.conf? Please, why I am not able to login from the web based? Why this error message appear "Error : A2Billing configuration file is missing", although i am placing the a2billing.conf in the /etc/asterisk directory and I configured the database correctly. What i am missing? Regards Bilal |

OK, I got almost the problem .. a2billing.conf for new version should be located in /etc instead of /etc/asterisk. But I am facing now two problems: It look like the default username and password to login from the web based for the admin (root/myroot) has been changed, so what is the new one? From where I can get it in the Database? Also, when placing the call now, after giving the balance, it ask to enter the international number (and I do not need this .. I need it to give me the available minutes and proceed forward in the call), so what need to fix in the configuration? By the way, the new a2billing.conf file does not have the other sections that I mention it .. Regards Bilal |

Thanks it is clear. But, what is the default username and password to access the web as I was using root/myroot but currently it is not working. From where I can find it in the DB? Also, can I use the other section configurations that was existed in 1.3.4 a2billing.conf (like [agi-conf1] and so on)? Because currently it ask me to dial the number that which to call and before it was not ask me and it says directly the amount I have of money and minutes and proceed in the call. Any advise please?
