Every time I try to use the search engine, in ANY of the A2Billing screens, I receive a 500 Server Error and no search results.

As I didn't find anywhere on the net someone with a similar issue, I guess it's only in my installation.

What am I doing wrong? Is there anywhere I can look for logs and stuff, to debug this?

This is a quite important feature, because if you have 10k+ rates in many ratecards you'll end up screwing your head if you don't use search.

Yes, when I hit the Search button, Error 500 appears right away.

By the way, it's A2Billing version 2.0.1.
