Hi Joe

I think maybe Yahoo have removed/changed the URL for the currency list. Have you seen this already?

From the code it looks like it's going to - http://download.finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=

But I just get - "Missing Symbols List." is the CSV downloaded.

Cheers, Matt

I've had a look through the code a bit more and see it's not as easy as A2Billing just downloading a CSV from the URL.

The error I'm seeing in the GUI is

"At least one of the entries in the CSV file isn't a number. Currency update ABORTED." and it's true that some of the entries in the CSV file are "N/A".

I'm guessing the file produced from yahoo has changed, but I'm not sure how. Anyone else seeing this or just me?

Same problem here.
I'm surprised that no one has come up with an answer.
If you have solved this problem, please share.

Thanks,

Robin.

After a bit of code review I have realised Yahoo have cleaned up their currencies which are now returning N/A e.g Estonian Kroon (EEK) now using Euro. Since I don't have customers using these currencies all is well! I have deleted these rows from a2b currencies database. Now updating works :-)

id currency
3 XAL N/A
44 EEK N/A
49 GHC N/A
78 MGF N/A
82 MTL N/A
89 MZM N/A
110 ROL N/A
121 SKK N/A
127 SDD N/A
128 SRG N/A
145 VEB N/A
149 ZWD N/A
