Hello,

I have an under-testing server of A2billing on Ubuntu Server with only one active account on the system. Everything seems to work fine, except that I recently found that I am getting incorrect credit on my customer interface. The credit balance seems to increase/decrease inconsistently. If I refresh my customer interface info page every minute, I can see a new value every time and the funny thing is it also show more than what it previously was.

I got into the database and found the cc_card table with the credit column name. Attached is a screenshot of how the credit values change inconsistently.

I am not saying this is a bug, probably its just with me. Please help me fix this issue.

Hi

You must have a process that is doing this, e.g. call being made, simply refreshing the page won't change the balance.

The balance stays steady when nobody is using it. Its just that when someone is using it the credit jumps up and down like that. Could you please elaborate your point?

Hi

There is a balance reservation setting, that takes an amount of money at the beginning of the call. At the end of the call, the cost is determined and removed from the balance, and the dial balance reservation is returned.

This helps to avoid negative credit when multiple calls are passing through the same account concurrently.

Ok, that was a good explanation, thanks for that.

Is there a way I can disable this so that the balance is deducted only at the end of the call? And then maybe set a lock on the account when the balance remaining is say $2 or something? I would appreciate your inputs on this. Thanks.

Hi

There are settings in the agi-conf to set the value of the dial balance reservation.

You can set a minimum credit to call there as well.
