 Post subject: Call Balance drops way below zero

Is this a bug in the system? I was going through the threads and someone said back then that this bug will be fixed in later versions.
Someone got he password to my customer's extension and used it to abuse the F out of system.
Since I have simultaneous calls enabled for all the customers, I guess thats where he abused the system.
The balance got far below $400.
My question, is there actually a way to disconnect the calls when balance reaches 0. It is something which most of the voip billing solutions have by default and I guess is a must.
Please advise

Hi

That's what A2Billing does. It disconnects when balance is 0

It is worth explaining how it works.

Call comes in, customer identified, balance discovered, rate to destination calculated, dial command set to asterisk with a maximum duration worked out from customer balance and rate to destination, call hangs up, balance updated.

You can see that when there are more than one call, then the balance is the same when the next call goes through, which is why we have dial balance reservation, to try and alleviate the negative balance situation.

If that is the case then how did the balance go far below -$400, can you please let me know step by step how to prevent this. I know your time is precious, I will try to accommodate for your time as much as possible if you believe that is necessary.
I appreciate all your services to the community very much and hope to have brilliant people like yourself around us all the time.
