Hello,
I have an issue with the inbound service, and we start to receive several claims for that. Because several incoming calls are being dropped and in Cli I see:

Quote:
[Oct 22 16:07:49] WARNING[6157]: app_dial.c:2198 dial_exec_full: Unable to create channel of type 'SIP' (cause 20 - Unknown)
== Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/0/1)

In sip.conf I have rtcachefriends=yes, and as I'm using realtime, I also update the DB, by adding that faild to the cc_sip_buddies...

But, it still with the same, when the user just login, calls are being forwarded properly, after few seconds, when I repeat the testing, it's unable to create channel...

I'm away, this issue is an asterisk issue, may not be coming from a2billing, but or there's an issue reading the rtcachefriends directive by a2billing??

Please advice!

Regards,

Hi,

Since you say it sometimes work and some times not, then it could be a network issue.
What kind of arrangement do you have , are clients behind NAT ?

Start monitoring a certain client by issuing the following command from the Linux prompt :
Code:
asterisk -rx "sip show peer XXXXX" | grep 'Status\|Reg.'

XXXXX : is the username of the extension you are not able to reach.

Repeat that several times during the day and compare between the times where you can reach the extension and when you can not.
