I'm probably missing something, I'm fairly new to a2billing.

I have a 2 port GSM gateway and must treat each port as a separate trunk

Having created the separate trunks I have created a call plan and added to identical ratecards, one for each trunk. I've set the max limit to 1 for each trunk.

When I simulate a call, the software tells me that there are two routes in the ratecard.

The first call goes through fine but the second call does not. I can attach either of the two ratecards to the call plan and everything is fine but put them both in and it just seems to ignore the second call.

Am I missing something obvious?

TIA

Hi

The system will pick the longest match for the dialstring, then chose the cheapest if there are two matches of the same length.

But what if the rates are identical? How do you configure multiple trunks for the same rate?

TIA

I think the penny may have dropped!! I simply define a failover trunk say for trunk one as trunk two and a failover for trunk two as trunk three and a failover for trunk three as trunk four etc, is that the way it works?
