 Post subject: Declined Transaction Email Receipts

I have A2B 1.9.4 installed. When customers get a declined or denied credit card transaction, they still receive transaction receipt in their email. How do i disable this? I want the customer to get the receipt only after successful transaction.

Declined or denied transaction receipts don't replace the $firstname$ variable with customer's name.

I will appreciate any help.
