Post subject:  Rate simulator

Dear a2billing community,

I would appriciate if you help me to configure our a2billing. I am having a problem with setting call simulator. I have two providers. Rates from two providers were imported under two different ratecards. These ratecards were then added to callplan. However, when customer tries to check the rate for specific destination using call simulator, it shows two different ratecards and it is confusing for the customer. My question is:

Is it possible to have different providers with different rates under one ratecard? If yes, how call simulator will work? Will it show the cheapest rate?

The ultimate goal is to have one ratecard (or fixed destination rates) for the customer but actual call goes through the cheapest provider.

thank you for your help in advance.

I let the non-stupid people use the simulator
I am in the US and charge one flat rate to call US and Canada. However, I use tiered origination so I have like 400,000 rates for US only. What I do is create an "international only" call plan. Then in the Rates page I choose the option to export that call plan using LCR. I take all that into excel 2007 and remove the column containing the prefixes. Then I "Clean & Remove Duplicates". My provider charges the same international rate for most prefixes except a couple of countries, for example UK mobile - for UK there's a different charge for each carrier. I then post this to my website, see here
