Post subject:  FEATURE REQUEST: Email Log in Customer History

Would it be possible to have the Customer (A2B_card_info.php) info screen show the history of emails sent and a button to see what was written. In addition, is there a way for the customer to download there CDR from there account interface.

Hi

We have had a discussion about allowing a customer to download their CDR before, and we are not keen on the idea.

It's OK for small residential customers, but for wholesale traffic, where there may be 1,000,000 calls over a period of time, the process of creating and writing the text file can bring a server to its knees, and prevent further traffic being passed while the file is being generated, and we would rather not put that kind of power of denying service to other customers into a customers hands.

In respect of the emails, I configure postfix to BCC me every time an email is sent out.

Your comments make a lot of sense, and I thank you for your swift response. Although, and I would think in some instances, A2B is being used in a multi-platform setting, that is to say, in a cluster, in which one machine works as a pay and administrative server and the other is for traffic with the DB independent for both. Could the option be placed as a yes or no button for the administrator?
