I am looking for an experienced programmer to undertake a custom development in Asterisk2billing.

Asterisk now includes Jingle (Jabber XMPP Voice) native support , but unfortunately a2billing supports only SIP and IAX.

I need to add Jingle support to a2billing.

a new mod to create a Jingle friend exactly like it is possibile to create a sip friend now. Clear the user need to give his JID.

Hmm it really shouldn't me that hard to integrate this....all of the data is already there....you just have to make a jabber config file, or if it supports it.....throw the data into the RealTime DB

Hmm a little more research shows that this is a feature of asterisk v1.4....personally i use trixbox so we are still at 1.2 due to stability issues with v1.4, however if u can provide a test environment with asterisk v1.4 and a2billing BASIC install i think we may be able to work something if u want.

crsh ... did you do a update and yum on your trixbox ?? I think you might find 1.2.14 on it

I've got trix 2.0 with asterisk 1.2.14 on it in VMware.

yeah i did, but isn't jingle support only for asterisk 1.4.x? as opposed to 1.2.x? (which is what trixbox runs)
