I am hoping that the next version can have Google Checkout incorporated into a2billing.

I'm guessing/hoping that if the next release has added functionality like this it would be something along the lines of authorize.net?!? The TOS of google checkout and paypal do not allow for calling cards or related services.....

Does authorize.net allow for calling cards and phone services? what about recurring charges? That's the big one I see we need. As we go forward into programs that allow for monthly charges, a recurring charge to a credit card seems like a mandatory item.

authorize.net is just a payment gateway....it still requires a "real" merchant account.

Do Paypal explicitly say that you can not take payment for phone calls? I do not see how this would be legal or enforceable bearing in mind their relationship with Skype! and as Paypal is based in The UK it would be very difficult for them to act in such a way.
I think that the confusion here is regarding ebay and the TOS with reference to tangible goods.

Regards to all

The TOS for Ebay come across to PayPal as well. I had an issue with fraud with a A2B customer using a stolen paypal account and although paypal gave me the money in my account, it was later reversed. I had a BITCH of a time with PayPal telling them that it is their responsibility to verify that an american CC is being used from Egypt for example. They knew I was using pre-paid calling cards and their TOS with tangible meant that if I had mailed an actual card and had tracking number, then I could have been reimbursed. But since I didn't I was SOL and they didn't care either.
