The current configuration for rating a period has a little disadvantage:

You cannot establish time periods for a specific day. This is very important for some providers who has different prices inside a day.

for example, from 10:00 to 14:00 0.1 cent/min; 14:00-20:00 0.2 cent/min, etc...

is this a bug or can it be used this way??

when using asterisk, this feature can be easily accomplished using GotoIfTime()....

best regards

It looks like A2B does have support for this. Check the fields 'start time' and 'stop time' within the rate sheet.

Whether the time-of-day routing actually works properly is another matter; I've never tested it. A brief look at the rate engine indicates that it should work.

I'd suggest creating some rates and testing thoroughly with the ratecard simulator. Please report your findings back here; we like to hear about things that work well in addition to bug reports!

I very briefly tested this functionality earlier in response to someone else's question and I think it does work. I'm sorry for having cast doubt upon it.

Paketecuento, have you had chance to test this out yet? If so, has it worked as expected so far, or are there some subtleties that I've overlooked?
