I tried using Google to search for the answer as well searching on the forum. Could someone please tell me how to use speed dial on A2B? What is the format to be dialed for the short access codes in order to dial stored numbers?

Thanks

duhty

At the IVR prompt to enter your destination number just dial the speed dial number, e.g. 1 or 1# to dial immediately.

Does this work the same way for normal SIP to PSTN calls? For example, Mom's number 13055551212 is assigned code #1.

If I want to call her using speed dial (number stored in Phone book) what do I key in?

Thanks

1
or 1# to avoid the delay

When dialing from SIP phones with use_dnid=yes you need to dial an invalid destination first, and then enter the speed dial on the second attempt where you will be prompted for the destination. e.g. on my system I'd dial 1 on the SIP phone, then hear 'please enter your destination' and dial 1 again to trigger the speed dial.
