Being able to push * to make another call without having to redial into the calling card platform is a very good feature and most good calling card programs have something like this. But most calling card systems I have used makes you press a double ## or a double ** to make another call. The reason for this is many voice mail or PBXes system require the use of a single * or # to navigate menus or confirm actions and with A2billing soon as your press * it disconnects your call. For this reason this is a serious problem that should be fixed. I have received several calls now from my customers in regards to this matter.

I suggest changing this to a double * or double #. This way it will not hang a caller up when trying to access a voice mail or PBX system.

Sam,

That's an Asterisk configuration, not an A2billing one. Take a look here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+ ... tures.conf

Basically you need to do something like "disconnect => ##" in features.conf, featuremap section.

Are you sure you're not disconnected by your upstream providers which intercept "*"? Do a sip debug and see who's sending the BYE message.
