Currently if I want to offer the same rates over a different trunk I have to create a whole new set of rates because in the current implementation:
Tariff Group --- contains Rate cards
Rate cards ---- contains Trunks and Rates
but the thing is that Rates are not free to belong to any Rate Card. When they are defined they are defined using the Rate Card Name.
it just seems like a level is missing and the naming in the ui seems to concur because it refers to tariff group, tariff plans and rate cards. but that is not reflected in the design. So how about it becoming:
tariff group (product) --- contains tariff plans
tariff plan (service) ---- contains Trunk and Rate Card
rate card (prices) --- contains rates
this i believe is more flexible and does not result in the duplicated rates.
