the next version will have a strong system for callback.
From there we might discuss how to include sms callback if some are interrested.

I have SMS callback working on another PSTN system. I'm sure we'll be able to integrate the same philosophy into the new A2B, my only thing is right now we used a software from the UK that cost us something like $300 (per modem) that takes the SMS messages and then puts them to a database and also has an API that can be called into it. I guess I need to find a GNU SMS solution so that it can be integrated to A2B seamlessly. (How it works, is just grab a SMS-Modem hooked to serial port and software reads and grabs it ... I know there are some standards there for accessing the SMS off the modem)

PS - going to post a success story soon. Got A2B latest version running with Trixbox latest version complete with web registration, pre-paid cards, and callback. Just need to tweak a few interface options plus get DID working and I'll post it. I'm very happy right now.

THANK YOU ARESKI

For now I still can't donate $$$ in this project because I am still doing a lot of testing , redundancy , etc... negotiating with some providers.. and the likes... but I will do it sooner!

for SMS callback I suggest to integrate SMPP to connect to some big providers like clickatell ...

For those who are earning $$$ because of this system please don't forget to donate for this project...

Here is the formula

$$$=Areski's EXTRA Energy
more $$$$ = More Areski's updates and upgrades, more stability and more feature....

You're right on. I've donated, but not NEARLY ENOUGH. In same boat as you, haven't gotten $$ flowing in from it yet, but soon as I do, I'm committed to helping more financially with the project. I'm getting closer every day. Click-a-tell is a good idea for messages out, but I'd like to get inbound SMS using their ANI to trigger callbacks to customers. I'd like to use local GSM numbers to accomplish this with modems and USB or serial ports into machines.
