I want to try out sms callback on A2billing. Any Ideas?

Hi Guys

I have seen some posts regarding sms callbacks on A2billing, but nothing final. It is my first time trying to set up up callback(Not web callback). Preferably I would like to set up a number of sim cards to which people can sms and then A2billing will callback. Is it possible to do this without an sms gateway. Any instructions would be greatly appreciated. Dont mind even getting an sms gateway. Just need help in setting up and dont want to buy anything if i cant use it.

I was under the impression from recent posts that several regulars on this forum have been very pleased with using Kannel in combination with A2B.

Yeah, saw that, but it seems that some work needs to be done from the last post i have been following: http://forum.asterisk2billing.org/viewt ... highlight= and the guys on that forum had to get back with their testing.
and if somebody has already managed with kannel i would like to know. I tried to set up kannel and it ended up in a disaster.
