howdy all :)

long time ago since my last post ;)

well, i have installed (or lets say upgraded) v1.3.2 on one of our servers for testing ... so far so good.

now when i try to install the callback-daemon i get stuck on "adding" it to the system.

doc says :

Edit a2billing-callback-daemon and change configurations if needed;

i found out the following "thing" in the RC script:

# Source function library.
INITD=/etc/rc.d/init.d
. $INITD/functions

i can not find this "functions" file/directory.

docs says :

else:
You have to adapt a2billing-callback-daemon.rc script for your system.

hm... dunno how to do it on suse 10.1 (i hate suse)

any suggestions ? :)

regards,
michael

Callback is intended to call you back; this sounds like it's working properly. Please describe what you are hoping to achieve.

sir yes sir

well i put in my mobile number and the number of my office (the number i want to call)

my mobile rings, i pick up, waiting... after some seconds the system just hangs up.

in my opinion it has to call my office too right ? and it should connect me with my office.

Sorry, yes I see what you are saying now.
There are many possibilties for why this second leg isn't ringing. To get an idea what the problem is, it's always informative to set 'debug=3' in all the relevant [agi-confX] sections of a2billing.conf and check the AGI logfile after placing a call.

Don't hate suse...

INITD=/lib/lsb/
$INITD/init-functions

line 22 change daemon by start_daemon

Works for me in suse 10.3 next trouble is Inifile, use CPAN (aleready well documended here)

Sounds like the callback daemon isn't running. The installation instructions for the callback daemon are distributed in the A2B tarball in the folder addons/Doc.
