helo experts.
Im relatively new to a2billing and so far, i've sorted out most of the things I wanted except for callback.
I have webcallback working fine now with * & a2billing. The problem I dont understand is the other types of callback, DID, CID.
Are we assuming that the installation of our asterisk box is connected to pstn or a gsm modem to get the DID. or are we relying on 3rd parties to provide this information.
How is the CID passed to asterisk or a2billing? or How is DID provided.
Is there anyone using public DID providers getting them to pass on missed calls as a SIP call and then using that information to make a callback?

I would be very grateful if you could tell me what approach you are taking...
thanks in advance

Either. Whatever is supported by Asterisk can be used with A2B.

In the SIP From: header, or in the Calling Party field of Q.931 calls.

I'm sure most users of A2B do exactly this. I certainly do on all the installations that I maintain.
