Hello all,

i just registered this forum, for getting some help and knowledge of a2billing.

I am samarp from india.
and a software engg, working on VOIP softwares.
Thats, my introduction.


Now let me introduce my first problem.

I installed a2billing on my system and all went fine.

but when i installed callback daemon i faced one issue, i tried a lot, but not getting any help.

when starting callback service, by following command,

/etc/init.d/a2billing-callback-daemon start


i got error,

So, i install Config::IniFiles via cpan,

but it also gives me error like,

Scanning cache /root/.cpan/build for sizes
Uncompressed /root/.cpan/sources/authors/id/W/WA/WADG/Config-IniFiles-2.38.tar.gz successfully
Using Tar:/bin/tar xvf /root/.cpan/sources/authors/id/W/WA/WADG/Config-IniFiles-2.38.tar:
Couldn't untar /root/.cpan/sources/authors/id/W/WA/WADG/Config-IniFiles-2.38.tar


what i have to do, is it perl problem or anything related to a2billing?

can any one give me better solutions?

i m using centOS5.2

plss guyzz help me soon.

Added after 8 minutes:

Couldn't untar /root/.cpan/sources/authors/id/W/WA/WADG/Config-IniFiles-2.38.tar


resolutions :

i just went to

cd /root/.cpan/sources/authors/id/W/WA/WADG/

then untar Config-IniFiles-2.38.tar manually using,

tar xvf Config-IniFiles-2.38.tar

then cd Config-IniFiles-2.38
perl Makefile.pl
make
make install


and done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hope it will help someone, when getting problem of untar......
