Hi
Are there any documentation for callback configuration other than those files included with a2billing in the addons/Doc directory which really don't cover much about callback configuration. They only show how to install a2billing callback daemon and list some of the call back features.

Thanks for your help.

Good luck with that. I give up on A2Billing call back long ago and using FreePBX or my own bash script call back using Asterisk outgoing spool.

Sorry to sound so negative but A2Billing callback is way too complex and there are no proper documentation for it.

Hi

I would not agree that it is particularly complicated,

Once you have the callback Daemon up and running, then you have a couple of sample contexts, CID-Callback and All-Callback

The first means only callback if the callerID is in the database, the other means call back anyway.

The callback is then launched, this can be seen in the callback entries in the admin screens.

The callback is set to launch from a context called A2Billing-callback which is set in the config file, so this context must exist with the right lines in it.

so do u basically set a custom destination in trixbox to A2Billing-callback?

not really sure i just want to callback on CID based ONLY, and then when they do callback the server will only call back if they have enough credits etc...? Is this possible? thanks!
