I just noticed it when making the final verification....

A2billing puts too much money into the client's account...

Ex. Client buys for 5 CAD, it puts 5,05 ( ok this is not a big deal )

Client buys for 10 CAD , a2billing adds 11,217 , this is more than 10%.....

What should I do?

Additional info:

When I change everything to USD ( both base currency and payment currency ) everything seems to work and it takes a fee of 0,45 USD out of the client account.

Hello tudorseicarescu,

I am just going to guess here. The base currency is in US Dollar. What currency did you set up in your cards? If it is Canadian Dollar, "maybe" the account balance is being displayed in CAD while (maybe) the paypal transaction is being made in the base currency (USD). Try to find out what the exchange rate is, and do some math to see if that's the source of the problem.

Hello Asiby.

a) Base currency in USD.

Account balance displayed in CAD, paypal fee 0,70 CAD for 5 CAD transferred.

Acount balance displayed in USD , paypal fee 0,45 USD for 5 USD transferred.

b) Base currency in CAD.

Account balance displayed in CAD, paypal fee 0,70 CAD for 5 CAD transferred.

Acount balance displayed in USD , paypal fee 0,45 USD for 5 USD transferred.

In this case it looks like it is simpler to set the base and the account balance in USD...but maybe someone else found another solution?

Wait til you have to play with the ratecards... If you are using CAD like I am, you have to spend more time (like each week) to manually reimport all rate cards.

I have been requesting to add in rate card currency values for Buying and Selling rates so that we can create either a automated dynamic floating foreign currency rate or static rate system. Right now it is static and manual.

Check out my post at
http://forum.asterisk2billing.org/viewtopic.php?t=2124

Don't forget to post a bounty to help get this feature added in. Mention you also want it in 1.2.3 if the programmers can add it in.

Trust me, once this is in place, you can get your rate cards anywhere.
