I am trying to have users pay by phone. They call in and they can verify information online and get recharged all through phone. I looked at the Virtual terminal but they need you to apply first and provide Social Security number.

Does anyone have another solution besides Virtual terminal?

Virtual Terminal is a special feature that lets you process phone, fax, mail, and in-person orders - even from customers who don’t have a PayPal account. With Virtual Terminal, you can process credit cards directly and receive immediate confirmation or denial of the credit card. Apply to use Virtual Terminal at https://www.paypal.com/vt. If your application is approved, you need to complete the Billing Agreement before enabling Virtual Terminal for your account. Once we approve your application, you can access Virtual Terminal by logging in to your PayPal account and clicking the Merchant Tools tab.

Is anyone using authorize.net and do they have a system similar to the virtual terminal where you can special process credit card by phone, fax, mail, and in-person orders

Did you get this feature to work at all with VT? It soudn like a nice feature to have.
