PAYPAL ERROR AFTER SUCCESSFUL LOGIN TO THE PAYPAL ACCOUNT

Greetings,

I'm using A2Billing 1.3.4 and when I want to test the card refills through paypal. Everything works FINE until I am asked to login to my PayPal account. Right after I do that, i log in but the transaction won't go through for this reason:

Sorry — your last action could not be completed

If you were making a purchase or sending money, we recommend that you check both your PayPal account and your email for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.

If you came to this page from another website, please return to that site (don't use your browser's Back button) and restart your activity.

If you came from PayPal's website, click the PayPal logo in the upper-left corner to return to our home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again.

Therefore, I am stuck there and I can't refill my card.

does anyone know why it happens and what I can do to solve this?

In your paypal config in A2Billing.conf include these lines?

paypal_payment_url = "https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr"
paypal_verify_url = "ssl://www.paypal.com"

Hey Joe:

Thank you very much, it worked! I changed the paypal_verify_url with paypal_verify_url = "ssl://www.paypal.com" (The ssl:// part was missing) and now it works great!!

Just one more question. This PHP module forces users to have a paypal account. I currently bill some of my postpay customers with the "PAY NOW" button added to an e-mail message through the "e-mail payments" feature of PayPal but when they reach the secure website, Paypal gives them the option to pay with credit card with NO obligation to sign up with them and continue with a regular checkout procedure with their credit cards.

Is there a way my customers can pay me through the paypal gateway without forcing them to join paypal like I do with the "e-mail payments' i use for my regular billing?

i the following, but i still get this error. i called paypal and they say it was their system that got broken on monday. its now thursday, and still the error persists... any thoughts? no changes have been made that influence the payment pages so what could be the issue?
