I did my first paypal transaction on 1.41 today, worked fine EXCEPT A2b billed for VAT, and then Paypal added VAT as well!!, so Instead of being billed 50 + 7.50, they were billed 57.50 + vat. I didn't used to work this way, so I guess I can either disable VAT in a2b or paypal.

In addition, I note that an entry is created in the epayments log BEFORE they press proceed. So ig they change their minds, and don't purchase, there's an aphone record.

Anyone any explanation of of the correct way of doing this?

this record is used to verify that a payment request has been made by the users, information there will be cross-checked with paypal to verify the validity of the payment.

How to claim VAT when travelling to several countries ? i will be reaching London and planning to buy an LV bag in Paris. Thereafter i intend to to travel to Rome and Amsterdam before leaving to London for my departure home to my country. Can i just claim the VAT when i leave Paris or do i claim it when i leave London only?
